The Rose Mandala Breath Experience
~ A sacred journey into the heart through breath and the wisdom of the rose

Wednesday, 9 September 2026, 6-8pm
Venue: Let’s Retreat, Decoy Lane, Angmering, West Sussex, England, BN18 9QA

Please bring one rose and a personal prayer.

There is an ancient intelligence that lives within the heart of the rose. For centuries she has been a symbol of love, devotion, beauty and remembrance. She asks nothing of us except that we slow down enough to receive her. Petal by petal, she teaches us that the heart opens in its own time.

On this September evening we will gather in beauty, creating a living mandala of roses. Each flower will hold a prayer. Each woman will bring her own story. Together we will enter a gentle journey allowing the breath to guide us beyond the thinking mind and into the quiet wisdom of the body. Here we invite the medicine of tenderness. We allow ourselves to be seen and we witness another with compassion, as together we create a coherent field of sacredness.

The rose has been one of my greatest teachers. Years ago, when my own heart was carrying a grief I believed would never leave me, it was the rose who quietly walked beside me. Amongst thousands of blooming roses, through cups of fragrant rose tea, baths filled with petals, and long hours of silence in nature, and sitting in deep contemplation with my roses, I began to understand that the heart does not heal through striving. It heals through beauty, presence, love and forgiveness. This gathering is born from that lived experience.

Just days before, I will have spent time immersed in the Heart of the Rose Festival, a women’s festival to honour the way of the Heart, the wild mysteries of the Feminine, and the Feminine path of Awakening, remembering this path of embodied love together as women, oracles and birthers of new worlds, to re-member, council and ‘listen deeply’ to what is needed on the planet at this time.

I look forward to bringing those fresh insights, inspirations and embodied practices into our evening together.

My intention is simple:

To create a space where every woman feels welcomed.
Where the nervous system can settle.
Where breath becomes prayer.
Where beauty becomes medicine.
Where, even for a moment, we remember the quiet wholeness that has always lived within us.

It would be an honour to welcome you into this circle. Thank you for welcoming me into yours.

With love,
Talitha Kotzé
